I would love to have abs that are visible, but I I also love pizza. And Pasta. And Ramen. And Pasta. And Pizza. And Pasta.

It's all about portion control, Pat. I don't know if you can get them over there (I'd be surprised if you couldn't, but hey...) but you can buy a plate that is designed with a pattern to show the right portion size that you should adopt in any main meal.

The size of the plate is proportionate to what an average adult should be eating at a main meal of the day, and has a pattern that divides the plate into the three main food groups with a section each for protien, carbs and veggies. Obviously the veggies section is the largest... you can load up on those....

But the carbs section is easily enough for a good portion of pasta so you can indulge your passion for that and stay within recommended guidelines.

Then get out and go for a run, Marine. You'll be well fuelled and it'll do you good.

Ugh, I do miss pasta sometimes. Haven’t had it for almost a year and a half.

Though ramen as in the cheap stuff, I’ve avoided for 20 years. After being poor in college, I just can’t even take the smell now.
(I’ve never had real ramen- I’d be willing to taste if it was egg free.)

You can still eat pasta. In fact, you can eat whatever you want really, in terms of losing and/or maintaining weight. You just have to watch how much you eat vs how much you expend is all.
