My wife hasn't even bothered to buy me a 1st anniversary card let alone a present.... she is the most stubborn person I have ever known .... I love her... she's a brilliant mother to our kids but I don't feel loved myself... what do I do???

1 year last week.... as in our 1st anniversary. And yes I gave her a card and a present....

With the possible exeption of felacio (and that I suppose is a matter of taste) it is generally considered better to give that to receive.
