I have read the Left Behind Series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. The fictitious series accurately paint the picture of end times. IK bc I verified its plot in revelations. And some of what Revelations predicted would happen has either already happened or is happening now. Then there are future events that are yet to happen (e.g. 7 year tribulation).

David Jeremiah writes nonfiction based on the same topic. I'm currently reading Is This The End? by David Jeremiah. He's actually friends with Tim LaHaye, btw.

I too liked Nancy Drew books growing up, the hardy boys too. I loved the mystery books where you essentially did your own story through choices (if you picked x goto page 43, if you picked y go to page 90 etc)

For years I've been reading Terry Brooks books (Shannara series) I read the first one Sword Of Shannara when i was 11 years old and Terry is still writing and publishing with his latest being the conclusion of the Shannara Series after all these years (wait a cockadoody minute...)

James Herbert was my favourite horror novelist

David Eddings favourite fantasy

Yup, I read Nancy Drew and the Hardy boys--sometimes I had books where they worked on a case together...I have not heard of the other people you mentioned..
