It has arrived my friends. The beginning of the end. The final two chapters in this part of the story of my life. My senior year of college has finally arrived. Even though it’s late and I did go into the service, I may be one of the oldest students to graduate in 2019. Hopefully this chapter ends on a good note.

Good.

In a few short (though they may seem long) months you graduate... adding it to your accomplishments, not the least of which is being a Marine.

However small they are, you have my best wishes.

It doesn't matter how old you are, I think anybody can go to college and succeed if they put their minds to it---but, Congratulations on getting your degree!! That is awesome!! 8-]]

I went back to uni when I was 33 and did a business degree. It was odd because i was the oldest there and a shame as i couldn't really immerse myself in uni life as I still had a full time job to do so it was literally class then work, work then class.

I'm doing a Social Work degree just now but it's with the Open Uni which is distance learning

From Jarhead to Psych Head. You sure get around..!!

Seriously though, for all the hard work you've put in, and for everything you've been through I truly hope it all goes well and you get everything you've worked for.

Graduation is the best day of all. The feeling of achievement makes everything worthwhile. Enjoy the party.

Behavioural Health Technician...? Does that mean you'll be working with the health services on the treatment of patients who are, say, suffering from narcotic abuse.... PTSD.... physical and mental abuse and other mental disorders..?

That is a very worthy profession, Pat and I'm sure you'll find it not only challenging but highly rewarding. Good luck. I'm sure everybody on TFS is wishing you well.
