I think he just means any sort of violence.

Like for example, everytime you posted a thread on here, I went and smacked a First Nations in the face.

I think that is what he mans.

For the record I do not do that.

Well using that extreme simplification - I do not see how that pertains to the freedom of speech issues. Crush wants an all or none answer where there is no such answer.

Last month the ECHR found defaming Muhammad "goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate."

So, now defamation of the prophet is illegal in Europe.

I can't see any problems with this and I'm sure all will turn out fine.

From Wiki:
The Convention established the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). Any person who feels his or her rights have been violated under the Convention by a state party can take a case to the Court.

So putting two and two together, does that mean the ECHR discourages any state from defaming Muhammad?
Is there an equivalent statement for Jesus?

Not necessarily regarding a personal conversation.

Many countries... including European countries, have "blasphemy" laws that indicate that defaming any religion is not permissible... not just Muhammad & Islam, but also Jesus & Christianity.

Example: In 2016, a German man violated Germany's blasphemy laws and was fined €500 for driving around with anti-Christian slogans on his car.
