Biden v Trump --- oh god ... .
I don't know who would be better from the Dems, but at this point I'd be hard pressed to vote for either.
Well he is leading the early scenario polling, hence my prediction. I honestly wouldn’t mind him. He pretty much would remind people of Obama’s era, for obvious reasons, whom I think many people in fact miss at this point. And he isn’t as far left as the likes of Sanders or Warren, which would be important in regaining independents.

I think you are very optimistic, which is not a bad thing.
Hillary & Bernie need to stay out of the fray. All she will do is mobilize Republicans to support Trump. Bernie is a dividing force in the Democrat party. It isn't necessarily his "fault" but it is what it is (IMO).
Elizabeth Warren needs to stay out of the fray this time as well...
Biden will probably run, but he is getting long in the tooth.
Maybe Biden should run with Warren as his VP.
I don't thing Booker is ready yet... but I didn't think Obama was ready either.
In my not so humble opinion, the Democrats need to focus on their platform, their message to the USA and Congress (Senate & House). Take control and maybe even let Trump get re-elected as a 4 year lame duck. The only risk is the Supreme Court.
Some think Trump won't run again. I think he will and will be re-elected.
Real republicans have given up on the USA and are bailing out.
We are entering into a depression of sorts. Not an economic one, but one that hates the natural wonders of our country and detests science. The world will leave us behind. We will still be the biggest bully on the block, but will continue to loose credibility.
China is on the rise.
Europe is mostly stable (contrary to the nay sayers).
Canada and Australia may soon have their day as well.
They were predictions, not necessarily what I wish for.
Biden may be old, but so is Trump, Sanders, and Hillary, all at the top of the polls in recent years, so age doesn’t seem to be a factor as much as the media likes to make it one.
I do agree that Hillary needs to let this thing go and pass the torch. Unfortunately she refuses to do so in interviews. We have seen it twice before.
Warren at this point has dug herself into a hole, even if unintentionally. She won’t do damage though. Nobody will vote for her in the primaries, and that will be that.
Kamala and Booker simply don’t have the following to be a real challenge.
So we are left with Sanders and Biden. My wish would be Sanders, but my guess would be Biden at this point, because he is leading in polls and he would have a greater sway of independents as the more moderate option.
He killed Paul Ryan in the 2012 debates. He will do the same with Trump.
Trump will run again. I do not want Trump to win again, even as a lame duck. Our planet needs climate action yesterday. And our nation is getting sicker and dying younger. We can not afford another 6 years of a do-nothing Washington.
China is getting stronger, but they depend heavily on a global economy to do so. America as a stand alone power is definitely on the downturn, though, and there really isn’t anything anyone can do about it, with or without a wall.

The Demonrats have no message at all now.
They are all about Antifa mobs, socialism and hating Trump. Sad
@chaski Said
Oh look! You actually said something that is true...
And surprise! I handled the truth!
Then you haven’t been paying attention. Their message is there.
Some I agree with, such as the urgency of climate change and the solution of alternative energy and carbon taxation, and the need to take the insurance industry out of health care, some I don’t, such as the minimum wage increase and basic government income.
However, it’s there. The problem isn’t so much the Democrats in Congress, but the media spotlight on our Distraction in Chief and anything a Democrat says in response to him or want Democrats to say in response to him. Republicans have talked more about impeachment than Democrats.
