Man U were very ordinary against the hammers. From the very start they sat back and showed little real purpose or energy. The first goal for West Ham may have been fractionally offside and the own goal was a tough break but in truth the home side deserved their lead. The second half wasnt much better for the reds. The third goal they conceded summed up their performance throughout.

As for the hammers. They were very good. After their 0-4 start to the season many were calling for Pellegrini to be sacked which seemed absurd then and even harder to believe now.
