And don't forget they re jigged the words in 1986 to Everyboby Wants To Run the World in aid of sports relief. for the Africans who had nothing then, and surprise surprise they still don't have anything.

The Church was by far my favorite Aussie band from the 80's.

They are still putting out albums regularly too.

Don't forget INXS.

Go back another decade and the best Aussie rockers in my opinion were The Saints and Radio Birdman

Oh forgot about the Saints. Very few people know that they have the distinction of being the first punk band outside of the US to release a record (yes even ahead of the Sex Pistols).

"(I'm) Stranded"

Very good song too.

I have the album Eternally Yours which came out a little later than that and it's wonderful. In fact I think I'm gonna play it now!

I first heard of them in 1986, when their breakthrough album All Fools Day came out.

Songs From the Big Chair was the album. How do I remember that? Vinyl, motherf***ers. Feast your eyes. How much of a dork am I?

I want that album so bad for vinyl!!! You lucky lucky person...

That album is one of my all-time favorites and Tears for Fears is in my top 10 bands at least.

I love Tears For Fears, saw them a few months ago, they were "supporting" Hall & Oats. Would have preferred to see just them but something is better than nothing! I love the song "Woman In Chains" with Oleta Adams, Goodbye Song but easily my fave is Everybody Wants To Rule The World!! I would also love to see Simple Minds when they come near me. I am going to see Marillion in 2 days who had a big hit with Kayleigh off the Misplaced Childhood album to name but one! Am not a fam of the majority of stuff nowadays!!
