10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”
Moses belonged to Pharaoh's daughter, through adoption. But later one he murdered an Egyptian, so he became a cast-away. After that it really got nasty between him and Pharaoh, and that is about all I can find out.
Moses parted the Red Sea and Pharaoh followed him in, now that was a stupid move. The Egyptian army drowned, since they disregarded what was right before their eyes.
