i have noticed in my past.
someone is telling you something like a family member, or your spouse, or a friend.
you are listening to them with compassion, but you are reading between lines. you are thinking, ' so what! ".
without thinking or really try figure something to said, you come up blank.
you might want to laugh at the person, but try not laugh at them. you just said to them, " so what , move on! " you don't have answers and or compassion for the person.
you answer is correct, but the person is angry with you, or crying in front of you. you walk away from the person or hang up the phone.
you can't. you have to stay. you have read been lines ( this a little off this topic or not. ) what do if you read don't care about the problem.
from experiences, you tried to take the person's side, if you think you are right to warrant the fact. because now, whatever , you said to the person. you are in the middle, you go against them, you are in the dog house.
what to you have to answer them, you can't take the fifth, or said nothing.
i think reading between lines more about you and who you are than the other person.
how to answer the person if the person is right or wrong. how to make the person feel better, and make worst, because they are wrong.
i think reading between lines is about what kind of person, you are. what kind of character, you are. what definite you, as a human being.
Thanks, you posted something that was clear and I didn't need to read between the lines to work it out!
