My daughter getting involved with this locally. And something I've done with some of the youth already.

"Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services offers the Restorative Justice Program, which is an alternative justice option to the criminal court process. Restorative Justice uses the Circle Process to deal with criminal matters, and focuses on responsibility and accountability, repairing harm, and restoring harmony."

That's just the overview. I know the video was much more extensive.

the circle progress would be community services deals with all form of criminal voilcations. it might work with cultures, with families. more center point than a town meetings. a strong communication with each others, to watch for each others. or at least, a strong neighborhood bonding. something that probably cities need more of.

I've even seen this when a drunk driver killed another. Man- was that powerful stuff.
