Anything by H.P. Lovecraft is worth reading, he's the undisputed master of the classic horror tale, Stephen King lists him as major influence.

I read a couple pages of 50 Shades of Grey. It made me go "damn" and I even got a little excited. That's some interesting stuff they have in that book.

So, how did you like "The Art of War", Cpat?

I've read it myself, along with a few other books you might find interesting.

"The Republic" by Plato & "Il Principe" by Niccolo Machiavelli (Might I suggest an annotated version? I have one such version in a box somewhere around here that is of excellent quality as the editor is fluent in Italian and so can render the translation with more fidelity relative to Machiavelli's intent. If I find it I'll edit this or post again to give the details.)

I'm very confused right now with the book.

Bear in mind that that treatise was written about two thousand years ago. It's still very relevant, though some topics necessarily need to be modernized.

What would you like cleared up?

I am so glade I had put down my glass of rum before reading that.

It is cheep rum, but still doesn't deserve to be spit across my room... besides it would have been a waste.
