El Chupacabra

There have been some reports from colder climates. But I don't know how much stock to put in those. They could be just like the reports from Texas, and just about everywhere else in the states: just a dog with mange. What's got me confused is how people could get a dog and El Chupacabra mixed up! El Chupacabra is reported to be around 5 ft-6 ft tall, bipedal, sometimes reported to have "winglike arms", and has been seen leaping from rooftop to rooftop.

Could be possible because some breeds of dogs look bigger from a distance than they really are

Yes, but I've seen the photos, and these are almost always small breeds.

Chupacabra: Not real, but cool. Most of the animals they've captured or killed turn out to be stray dogs with mange.

I have already said that. But there are reports of something that cannot be a dog. Google "El Chupacabra - Puerto Rico" minus the quotes.

I think this is one of my favorite urben ledgends. They tell their kids that if you don't go to bed el chupacabra will get ya. Thats really nice to tell the kids. Who knows, he could be out there lurking in the woods somewhere, ready to pounce. Never know. I don't think there is sufficient evidence to show he's real
