I was going to suggest instead of a school teacher, a counselor....but seems Bozie already did. I am 100% in agreement here with this statement. It is the school counselors job to worry about stuff like this.

And then I just read about UK not having school counselors? Hmmm....

I would go to the parents in that case. I know you don't know them, but....maybe now is the time to get to know them. It amazes me with that much weight loss, that they haven't noticed, but maybe with the busy swings in life, they need a little nudge to put it into their heads that she might need some help.

Good luck. Please let us know if she gets better. I sure do hope she does. My sister fought and is still fighting anorexia/bulimic acts and it is a scary thing.
