I have got to admit that the idea of genetic modifications makes me come out in shivers, but then I think that its only naturale selection speeded up. I mean, if a certain type of beatle go's for a certain type of crop, sooner or later it would find a way to overcome the beatle. True this may take a decade or so for even the most minor changes to become apparent, but they are happening, on the other hand, the scientists are skipping all that evolution in between.
