Despite this it seems like it may not be the best of times for the opposition, they've lost Bradford West and I'm hearing a lot of mutterings about the Nats taking Glasgow (about as Labour as you can get) from them in the council elections.

Interesting times for the Labour party, the most popular party in the UK but probably due to the lack of credible opposition in most places, and the 'omnishambles' of the current government.

I can't help but think as soon as the government get back on track Labour will be behind again. What do Labour need to do to become a credible and decent opposition to an unpopular government?

Lack of decent leadership I'd suggest. Ed Miliband isn't particularly inspiring and Labour are yet to come up with a decent alternative economic plan to the government's.

I dislike the major political parties as they stand right now. I don't consider either the right or left to have any worthwhile substance.
