I saw that on the news this morning!

Looking back on it (and not watching this video too), I thought they said mom was in the bathroom, but at the end of the clip this morning, the newscaster added that the woman was in the kitchen and left the faucet running to check on the kids...and the sink overflowed.

Flour by itself is bad enough. Flour and water is glue.

What is she on about? What's the big deal?

Aren't there any vacuum cleaners in The USA?

I reckon she's probably part of the occupy comedy.

Have you ever vacuumed up a large volume of powder? Vacuum cleaners, contrary to the indication of their name, are not airtight. Some air escapes. You might call it "exhaust". In that "exhaust" is any particle that is small enough to slip through the filter...things like flour, ash, baby powder...and they get expelled into the air only to settle as a fine dusting on every single thing in your house.

So then I guess you get to dust it with a dry cloth (because flour + water = glue) and basically repeat the process.

You know, that's funny. Because that's how a good majority of people on here find all of YOUR posts.

OH the irony.

Where was the stupid mother when they first got into this?!!
They could choke to death on flour! Especially with the way they have it strewn all around the room like that; and in the part of the clip where the kid is pouring it on his head.

On the news this morning when I saw this story, they said the mother was in the bathroom...which is why I don't understand how the kitchen faucet was left running. Maybe the newscaster at the end said the bathroom faucet was left running and she was just demonstrating in a kitchen.

If there's a camcorder handy, there's parents who will try to cash in on something like this. Then, their kids grow up to be teens rioting in the streets or robbing convenience stores, only to be caught on other cameras.
Forget the videos and discipline your brats while they are young.

She's over reacting a bit, it's just flour - 'omg, I'm gonna be sick' - shut up and deal with it instead of standing there while your children make a bigger mess! Stupid woman for leaving it where they could get at it.

Though, it is a bit staged.
