could someone teach me css

i know a bit of html.
everytime i look at a css tutotial i'm utterly confused.

are there any basic commands (similar to html) that i could learn?

If you look through the W3Schools tutorial, that should help you out. I used that to learn the basics of CSS in a few hours years ago.

I found CSS tricky at first but once I understood DIVs and how they worked it was fine. PHP is only complicated once you chuck in SQL.
