I have been using this headset for 3 days now and they are quite good.

pros:
Great sound quality.
Great high and low end sound improvement.
Cancels out ambient noises.
forced feed back of the mic means that i have found that i didnt need to shout to have my voice heard over the noise of the game.
has independent volume controls for the mic and the game sounds.
you can also have the sound completely off on the tv and still be able to hear what ever you are doing.

This means what ever you are doing be it watching a film listening to music or having a late night gaming session there is no loss of quality.

Cons:
hissing no how loud you have it there will be hissing it is not noticeble during games as far as i have noticed but during movies the hiss is quite noticeble.

all in all i give these 9/10 a must buy if you are on a budget and want a compramise on quality and price.

This makes me want the PX21's really badly, because I usually play my games with the volume on pretty loud so I can hear a bunch of things. Do the headsets have sound leak?

Not sure of the model number, but I am quite happy with my Presidians...Really good noise reduction/canselation, and no hiss.
Maybe the hiss you mentioned is coming through from your sound card?...I had one that did the same thing.
When I bought my lap top, I wasn't getting anymore hiss at all!

They were plugged straight into the TV, but i have noticed a hiss from my speakers and when i had my turtle beach attached to my computer they would hiss if turned fully up.

God i am slow on the uptake of checking my old topics

Hey everyone, today I got my new turtle beach earforce x11 gaming headset for the xbox 360. I plugged them in the right slots and everything seemed great. Then, when I tried playing cod4 with them, the sound was really faint (I could barely hear it.) THe chat mic was working fine. I tried everything. I have an hdmi cable and I couldnt get the sound to get louder so if anyone can help me out id really appreciate it!

Plugged it in with the USB cable connected?
Turned the sound up on the independent Sound thing?

If you have done both of these take them back to the store and get a new set as mine deafen me.
