He's just said what I've been thinking.

Quote:
Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave are attempting to broadcast for as long as they can for Comic Relief.

They're hoping to break the record for Radio 1's Longest Show - as well as setting a brand new Guinness World Record for hosting the longest music show by a radio team. The record will be set at 50 hrs. After their show on Wednesday they'll keep going - and the DJs who follow, will co-present - helping Chris & Dave get through it.

He just said it's nothing special, sitting down while ordering people to get you bacon sandwiches and frappuccino's is something anyone could do.

I lolled.

Oh dear, as if him for a couple of hours a day wasn't enough.

I'm just surprised Radio 1 is still on the go, I thought everyone listened to Radio 2 or 6 Music these days.

Glad I'm not at work, it's bad enough having to be forced to listen to him during his usual hours.

Who Chris Moyles?

I hate him, at first he was humerous but now he just tries to find humour by insulting people.

I never usually do listen to him, just doing it 'cause it's for Comic Relief and the guests are worth listening to.

Comedy Dave is worth putting up with him.

Because I said so.

Don't trivialise my prejudice with facts, racism and facts don't ever work together.

I personally don't mind Chris Moyles and tbh staying awake for over 50 hours is pretty damned difficult. After 24 hours (I had to stay awake over 24 hours while working a night) you're dead, it's hard to carry on a conversation and function like a normal human being.

I'm in the minority who've been listening from the start (near enough). Amazed they've lasted so long without them losing their voices or going insane by constantly having to talk. I know their job is to talk, but not for this long in a row, it must be hard to sound enthused about things when you haven't slept in over 24 hours.

It's an endurance thing rather than anything monumental, but seeing as they've raised over half a million pounds for Comic Relief then it's got to be a good thing. Unless of course you don't like him, but then you could always donate so you don't have to listen to him

I avoid the BBC in the weeks coming up to Comic Relief as it is all they talk about.

I think raising money is undoubtedly a good thing but Comic Relief is so unfunny it's painful, and the way the BBC turns into an old boys club where they pat each other on the back and constantly make references to Comic Relief is cringeworthy.

The only other time the BBC do it is when Strictly Come Dancing is on and they act as if everyone is watching it.
