Why is Apple hated so much?

I was a PC user for many years and now I have a MacBook and to be honest, I like it a lot and love the key board but I do not see a lot of difference between it and a PC.

However, many of the people who I know who are involved in the digital arts are Apple snobs. The love to run down PCs. They are elitist about the entire Mac v PC. Personally, I am glad that I can work comfortably in either platform.

I believe steve jobs worked for ibm and flaunted the idea of a pc to them first and they shot him down. the two guys that really invented the idea of a pc in their garage got nothing for the idea, so everyone else should be happy. this is my first mac and i will never go back to anything that has to run on that bill gates windows junk. all that money and windows is crap. if you are looking to buy an apple you can go to their sight and buy a refurbished one for a couple hundred dollars less. just look at the two men and you can see why apple is better, apple is steve jobs baby, windows is something bill gates stole and uses just to stay rich he doesn't care, just make it nice enough to get buy.

i really like my macbook air 11

I have a macbook and a windows laptop. I like both for different reasons.

At the moment I'm using my PC and that's fine, however the MacBook I prefer to use when I'm writing, if I'm going out and about (because it's lighter) or if I'm using a few things at once (it goes considerably faster than my PC)

I think PC's probably are better but Macs are easier to use, nicer to use and generally quicker to use. PCs are probably more useful for people who use computers for things above and beyond what I use mine for.

What can PC users can do that Mac users can\'t?
