Elementary School Projects

I work at an elem school and we are running out of ideas for projects for the little ones. Anyone have things that are related to months/seasons (we cant do holidays cause its "frowned upon" )

At the school I work at we are doing the holidays but they call them "winter holidays" instead of christmas. Also we did alot of halloween stuff. And decorated the school with things that look like fall and winter.

We are now trying to focus on the upcoming month. We are doing Valentines since its a "friend" day and not so much a gift giving day. We are also gonna take a week for the Olympics which I think is cool. Any suggestions?
