So, I am looking for a turn Based combat RPG for the PC, I have just completed Final Fantasy 8 once again, and don't feel like playing 7 again anytime soon, I was just wondering if anyone has played or heard of something similar to the series(preferably not a multiplayer or a totally skill based game like oblivion) I want to stay in the same game genre, and would like if it could be a little older *giggle* because my computer is ancient and may not support it.

Now, looks like I'm a little picky but if you could suggest something Id be happy to give it a shot.

Role playing games....yours just usually have real people!

Frax my ex loved these things. He was always on the hunt for the next best one. I wish I could suggest one for ya, but I don't remember any of his games.

He had some RPG game once where you could create your own, RPG maker or something. I think it was an old PS2 or something that he had. LOL

Can you tell I'm a serious gamer?

If you're fine with emulators I'd certainly recommend Chrono Trigger. Other than that, the best turn based RPG I've played was Paper Mario: The thousand Year Door but that was on Gamecube.
