So I'm kinda awkward

2 of my friends were a couple for nearly 2 years and they just broke up... But I have no idea what to say to either of them!

Just say you're sorry and offer to be there to talk to them. Don't take sides or offer your opinion though. Just listen.

just be compassionate for the pair of them and dont take sides unless obviously one is at fault. I have been with my girlfreind for nearly 3 years and i think i would die if we broke up but we havent had one arguement to date so its going well, but just remind them that there good beutifull people and they will move on eventually ir there could even be a chance they could get back together, good luck hope things turn out ok.

I just find myself really awkward in these situations but I consider both of them good friends so it's not like I can say "THAT b****!" or whatever

If they still wanna be friends with eachother just organise a night out and get drunk. That always helps

That happened with a couple I know that went through that and they're still friends to this day, it'll only be awkward if they make it awkward

Just make it clear to them that if they can't be friends and start putting you in the middle of their disputes they will both see less and less of you because you do feel awkward.

I would just ask "if you want to talk about anything, Iam here for you"..
and then, just 'be' there for them, wheter it be to talk, or in silence.

Being there is important.

tell them to get back together already. couples have mini-break-ups all the time. they fight from anywhere between 2 hours to 2 days then make up. the make up sex is also great.

You're not obliged to say anything to them. Why think you had to? I really think you should relax and stop being so tense. You weren't responsible for anything.
