I've been wildly unpopular all my life, but I'm not bothered. I just laugh at how much they are annoyed that I'm not. I just go my way. If they try to make me feel uncomfortable, I'll do the same for them. If they pull the fists, I will too. If they insult, I will give the old 'Good one...' phrase to make them realise how pathetic they are. In fact, I don't see why one would want to be popular. It holds you back from what you could be achieving. Think of how long life after education is, then think about how short life IN education is. They will be popular until they get out of education, then no-one will give a s*** and they won't be able to handle it. They'll be left behind and labelled a nobody in later life.

All the things I really like about myself are the same things that tend to keep me from being popular anywhere lol.

It's mean to hate people. Those of you who are saying "I hate popular girls" are mean also. Just because someone is popular doesn't make them the spawn of the devil. They have insecurities too. And, they are probably popular because they are nice. Now I am not partial to popular girls or anything because I am not popular nor do I know anyone else popular.

It seem in some school the mean and shallow people are popular but in other the good people are popular. Why your schools are different..

There was cliques when I was in school (long time ago) but now hearing from my nieces, freinds and people on here I'm GLAD I schooled when I did!

i didnt much care if i was popular at school or not, i had my little group of really close friends and i wouldnt have traded them for a whole school of brainless followers. my group of friends was so diverse tho that noone could really pick on us if they wanted to, we had the geeks, athletic, and everyone in between but because we didnt care noone bothered us.

Whether you're popular or not depends on the group you're in. I go to two schools - one a normal high school, the other a specialized college-education high school (made up of the best students in the district, IMHO 8) ). At my normal high school, the popular girls are slutty and stupid. One girl even asked if we could "make" light in the back corner so she could see her notes while we were watching a movie. At the advanced school, the popular kids are the nicest ones. Everything is based on personality. It just depends on where you go, although I feel bad for the popular kids who are popular because they're stupid, or hot, or do drugs, etc.

Sassi, although social practice is necessary, start practicing now to learn to become popular with and to yourself. If you can train yourself not to be reliant on the appeal of others for your own self-evaluation you'll avoid getting yourself stuck in stupid situations and you'll go pretty far in life.

The school I go to, you have to be nice, fun, pretty, fairly smart and be a team player to be popular really.

I'm a right b**** when I wanna be, and very opinionated. I'm fun though to be around I think [and hope D:]. I'm alright looking I'd say and I'm one of the least smart people ever. And I'm a team player sometimes, when it suits me though lmfao. But for some reason I'm actually sorta popular I think even though I hardly fit any of the catergories.
