I live in a small out port in Newfoundland. The people here are friendly, but will take anything if it is not nailed down or locked up.

You have to put a rock on top of most things, otherwise it will blow away.

Any Newfoundlanders out there with interesting stories about our wonderful Province??

Please post anything Newfoundland.

They are good people! Love them.

My mom and dad got home on Monday from 2 weeks in NFLD for my great-aunts 90th birthday. No, contrary to most beliefs, the party didn't last 2 weeks. Mom was thrilled to be able to see relative she hasn't seen in years.

They brought back some smoked sturgeon, molasses raisin bread, partridge berry apple jam and Purity crackers and lemon biscuits. The little things I miss so much from down home.
