Nudes.

Does anyone have any tips on taking nude photos? I want them to look sensual not trashy. Any help would be great.

Make 'em black & white

Good start but poses are needed. And scenary would be great also.

just use like weird artsy angles or something.

use soft focus

take em outside & get down with nature...LOl

Dont listen to d***, remember mystery is good 4 nudes cover bits up leave thing to the imagination !!

Keep it interesting, don't just have pics of some chick in the buff. That's my two cents. My work here is done...lol.

a few tips that I wud like to share:
1. nude photos looks best in shades with a dazzling segment. More than one dazzling positions, should look greaaat if they follow a regular geomtric pattern. If irregular pattern is ur fav. then be sure to make irregularity a regularity throughout the photo. corner to corner. This calls for good lighting arrangement, premeditated.

2. the nude subject should not cover the entire frame. Rather the frame should contain empty auxilliary things (like a pattern, made by lights or shade of a moving ceiling fan or else) that focusses the attention of the audience into the subject and make it even more valuable.

3. the above aspects would make the nude subject sensual, based on the pose...the pose should again conform to the area u want ur subject to cover in the whole pic.

photographers hv many a idea varying from person to person, time to time and best from opportunity to opportunity...so may be other ideas will work for u as well.

i studied photography for a year at college and i would personally take nudes in black and white with a plain black background with a bright light highlighting the edges of the models body, the model would be stood with there head down faceing the camera.

thats just one of my ideas.

I'd think "less is more"
Taking to an extreme example - someone sat there with their legs open facing the camera - that would be a big no-no.

The suggestion, the hint is more interesting and certainly more erotic than the obvious "in your face" - so make the most of the pose, see a part of your subject's body that looks good - a curve for example, and work on that.

And yes, black and white can look very classy.
