Which has been foretold. (cf. Mark 10:30)

This occurred between December 29th and 30th, 2018 A.D.

What, exactly occurred?

Mark 10:17-31 is about people giving up possessions and leaving their homes to follow Jesus and also about the difficulty of the rich gaining eternal life in heaven.

I'm not sure what you think happened that's related to any of that.

Mark 10:30 [with 10:29 in context]

[“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for My sake and for the gospel] will fail to receive a hundredfold in the present age— houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions— and to receive eternal life in the age to come.

This is a vague enough passage to attribute to just about anything newsworthy, so anyone can probably just pick a date and pick something that happened on that date, and attribute this verse to it and try to come across as a sage, especially when being purposely vague as well, as this poster has done.

I tried looking up the newsworthy events that happened on each day, and the only two primary events that happened on both were Trump’s freezing of federal workers’ pay in 2019 and California’s ban on retail sales of cats and dogs.

So this person is either a disgruntled federal worker or animal retailer who is not satisfied with the thought everyone is not suffering for what happened to him/her.

No, "we" have not entered into any "age to come" as predicted in any part of the Bible.

— and to receive eternal life in the age to come.

Maybe I (we) entered it and didn't notice!

But then I look at the above phrase and- Nope... I know people who have died since Dec.

Tim Conway for one.

The end of the 2,300 day cleansing period of Daniel 8:14.

Mark 10:30 directly catches Jesus referencing the Last Judgment.

If there is something about this that doesn't suit your fancy, not to worry, unlike the previous age, this one lasts forever.

That people still die is due to a previous judgment by God; it doesn't negate the rest of Scripture.

Is there any historical evidence as to WHEN that prophecy was made?

People have been attributing their date to the end of the 2300 for 200 years.

Daniel 8 tells us the prophecy of the 2300 year cleansing was made in the third year of king Belshazzar's reign. It isn't entirely clear when his reign exactly started, but seeing as how he died some time in the 5th century BCE, that 2300 year period would likely have ended some time in the 18th century CE.

I am not sure why you think anything in particular doesn't "suit my fancy" as all I did was ask a question about a seemingly random passage you cited (rather cryptically and without really saying anything) that doesn't really seem to have much to do with the second passage you cited when you answered me. The passage from Mark has Jesus speaking about the afterlife, sure...but it's a bit of a stretch to say he's talking directly about the last judgment and the apocalypse. Obviously talk of that is abundant in Revelation.

Also, if you're just counting days/years based on our current calendar - The calendar has changed and adjusted and been modified over the years. So counting "x" from a day way in the past is more complicated than just adding 365 a number of times.

Sorry I don't have the details, but this came to light when looking at "12/21/2012" as the end of times or beginning of new times or something to do with "The End Is Near" stuff

You clearly haven't read and studied "Scripture"... but instead are spouting stuff that others have told you.

Go get yourself a bible and read it.

ALL of it.... from the very FIRST word to the very LAST word.... not just the random passages that someone it telling you to read... READ ALL OF IT

Then begin studying it... it will take you years... you will need to read it multiple times... You might want to study the history of the Bible not just its content.

Once you are finished, unless you decide to not pay attention, you will realize that your present argument is incorrect.

Also, STOP letting people tell you what the Bible says. The vast majority of them never read it and all of them are misleading you.

I know you won't do any of this which means you will be misguided and tricked by others.

Actually, it has been for thousands of years, not 200.

Ultimately, however, it is, as Grisham says on CSI, "the evidence doesn't lie".

It isn't vague with regard to "the age to come".

So as such, Trump and 'cats and dogs' aren't the focus of this, nor the errant judgments of the incredulous.

I suggest try thinking outside the bun of disbelief.

If you follow the ramblings of fools, you will speak the ramblings of fools.

Evenings and mornings, 2,300 of them, not years; and later, chapter ten, "the vision is yet for days" (not years).

The chronology of this has been shown to the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven (Matthew 24:30), Christ's angel who has been sent ahead, also as foretold.

The basis for the counting is supplied in a 16th century French prophecy regarding the "three kings of Persia" yet to come in the opening verses of chapter eleven; how rule would be left to two in Nostradamus' 95th quatrain of Book IV : Les Prophecies.

The second of these three kings entered into a coma on February 12, 2009 A.D.; then 3 years and 7 months began according to that quatrain which led directly into the 2,300 days on September 12, 2012 A.D.

Surprisingly, in this regard, the Mayan cycle contains a great deal of accuracy.

That second king passed on to eternal life on March 19, 2009 A.D. due to said complications from an automobile collision.

Another just passed on last month.
