Susan Klopfer has been pushing the U.S. DOJ to investigate the 1966 killings of civil rights activists Adlena Hamlett and Birdia Keglar. The Attorney General, behaving as if this is a state-sponsored Innocence Project is actually "committing" law students to decide whether these difficult cases merit resources to re-open. One of these law students, for her sake "unnamed," believes that there is a "summary judgment" which somehow precludes the opening of an investigation into Keglar and Hamlett's death. Pathetic. And definitely not law trained, so sez this attorney.
