Those crazy christians are mocking military funerals because the government tolerates
homosexuality? What the hell is up with that? That zealous wase of f***ing space church
group needs to kill themselves.

I've seen that before on TFS.

Appartently those crackpots roam the country just trying to stir up trouble.

What they are doing is as Christian as being in the KKK.

They are as far from being Christ like as the man in the moon.

It is supposed to make you angry.

This is a "red herring".

The "church" of the "Right Reverend" Phelps is comprised solely of members of his own family and is financially supported by The Southern Poverty Law Center to create an issue where absolutely none should exist.

The press coverage that they have received has been purchased.

Money talks.

Read what Silent thunder has said. This is not the Church or anything to do with Christianity.

Catholics have alot of power, more than you might think, i don't give a s*** what silentthunder said. I find it rediculous that so many people in this world can be influenced by some stuanch conservative rich w**ker who claims to have been chosen by god. Protestantism isnt much better but at least it doesnt have a pope. I really hate the influence of organised religion. all religions create conflict. I have respect for Buddhism though.

The whole idea in inflicting anger is to staunch reasoning. Prejudice is not flattering, regardless of whom it is directed against. Should you not recognize the prejudice; then please substitute Blacks, Jews, or Women for the word Christian. Should you not care about prejudice; you might consider addressing your anger because it is very unhealthy.

If you will just think about it; the last time you got really, really angry at some one; who suffered more, you or them?

They did, they ended up with blood all over there face, i ended up being congratulated for punching the arrogant tosser.

And im not being prejudice against christians, it's christianity itself im opposed to. If people are christian fine, but first of all DONT take the moral high ground with me. I may not be a christian but that doesnt mean i don't have morals. Second of all DONT try to force christian morals or beliefs on me. im not saying that you are doing those things, but many religious people do. Another thing that pisses me off is the fact that they force us (at my school) to atend church before easter and christmass, im opposed to that becouse im having idea's i don't agree with forced upon me. If someone says "i believe christ was the son of god" thats fine, but when they state "christ was the son of god" as if it was a proven fact, thats what anoys me.

what angers me the most is hypocracy...why are we all children of God? or God loves us all? when gays arent one of them, since the "Bible disallows it"...i dont get it....and Bush and the administration pisses me off as well...the hell you were appointed by God to lead our country. Why would he choose a drunken monkey to lead our country into turmoil? see, God is depicted as an intelligent, lenient, powerful being who accepts us all according to teachings which i think is bull. I've grown to reject my catholic religion. I also dont approve of strong zealots.

As a Christian I believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God.

BUT I have no way of proving this to be anything other than my belief and is purely a matter of faith and nothing more.

For any Christian to preach this as a matter of fact which very many do is not the best way in my opinion of living as a Christian and spreading the word of the positive aspects of Christianity.

I would say most christians take your view, which is good. But some, and infact the reverand who takes our assemblies and services at school states her beliefs as fact. The local Catholic priest who takes our assemblies sometimes is much better, he always states "acording to christianity..." or "i believe..." or "christians believe..."

Jmo, not to be a bastard or anything. But take another look at the history of buddhism, it is no less bloody than that of any of the other major religions.

I'm a fan of a lot of buddhist concepts and philosophies, but there is no denying the blood that has been spilled over the letter of an interpretation there either.
