Interesting how the same people who go on about the evils of colonialism are the same ones going to Qatar and insisting that they change their laws. and in effect their beliefs their values. so that they mirror those of the 'progressive' left. So what, woke Imperialism is good?

Some interesting stadiums at the world cup in Qatar. The one that stood out was the one shaped like an enormous minge. In fact it was the second biggest growler I have ever seen. I did notice that after blokes started playing in it that the surface got pretty wet. Still, if you were prepared to go in hard and keep pounding away there was a good chance you would score.

Off the top of my head i can't recall a world cup with so many upsets. Absolutely never saw Morocco reaching the last four.

Quite extraordinary how the US sheilas, who have absolutely FA to do with the world cup in Qatar, will get half of the prize money that was earnt by the men. Lenin would be proud. Stuff equality, go equity

Once more, the bhoys weren't at their best but they got the job done over the zombie hun...again. CCV was a rock in defence. Next up it's ICT.

What an amazing effort by Luton. To go from the fifth tier of English football to promotion to the top tier in just nine years. And they managed to do it without significant financial resources. Indeed their wages budget in the Championship was the second lowest of the twenty four clubs.

The Hatters home ground is also unique and a real step back in time. The odds of Luton staying up next season are pretty long but they have been beating the odds over the past decade or so and so it would be nice if they could beat those odds for a while longer.

A crazy season in the EPL with no fewer than 14 managers sacked. Some teams even had three managers in just the one season. Sometimes the change in manager worked...sometimes it didn't.

Fair play to Forest and West Ham for sticking with their managers when the threat of relegation loomed on the horizon. They backed their managers in and were duly rewarded.

On the other hand Wolves, Villa and Palace all befitted from a change of manager, and you could probably add Everton to that list.

Really disappointed to see Dortmund blow a golden chance to unseat Bayern...

Personally think that it's outrageous that the new England kit doesn't feature the cross of St George on the back but rather some strange multicoloured cross. Nike tells us that the new cross is about uniting and inspiring English fans. Surely the cross of St. George does a much better job of doing that.
