Was a really hard call by Chelsea to sack Tuchel. Especially so as they had brought in so many new faces over the summer and it was unrealistic to expect them to instantly gel. The lack of intensity in games from the players was cause for concern but i would have thought that Tuchel had enough credit in the bank to be given time to fix things. Makes you think that there must have been reasons beyond the performances of the football team that saw the owners act.

Anyway, i think it's good that a pommy gaffer is being given the chance to manage one of England's biggest clubs.

Interesting how the English FA fought for their players to be able to virtue signal during matches with their rainbow armbands etc, whilst at the same time urging English supporters not to dress up as knights (St George) in case it offended the local populace! Heads up FA, the Qatari people were always going to be a lot more offended by guests coming to their country and telling them what they had to think, what their values had to be, than by some blokes wearing a bit of fake chain mail.
