All you have to do is compare Gingrich to Pelosi. Is Pelosi better at wrangling her people? Is she better at getting her way and taking advantage of crisis?

She's done everything but put horse heads in the beds of her opponents. Today, that counts as a "winning strategy." We've been played and continue to be played.

I've read this over many, many times and even slept on it for a day or two and I still don't understand this response. Even if we assumed that Pelosi was better at wrangling her people and taking advantage of crisis than Gingrich (which I don't think she is honestly), how does that at all indicate anything about the Democratic Party in relation to the Republicans?

your right, it doesn't make sense. that na wrote, both parties refer to " the godfather " line about the horse's head. both parties are good examples of the term:

nooneinparticular,

You can't take NaGAK seriously... whether he's discussing religion (i.e. Christianity) or politics... or anything else.

His technique is to throw as much spaghetti at the wall as possible in hopes that something will stick.

Of course the fact that "it" is linguini not spaghetti is irrelevant to NaGAK.

"Why do you hate the Constitution?" Weird question but oddly in line with their tactics.

The unreported phenomena of Antifa/BLM burn down cities through "mostly peaceful' protests because they're "intolerant to Nazi's. (And, we're all Nazi's or whatever)

Those who hate the Church and the Law of God redefine marriage and then call anyone a hateful bigot who doesn't bow to the rainbow flag.

Now they're saying that if you complain about the voting irregularities of the last presidential election, you're engaging in voter suppression and hate the Constitution.

No thanks.

Hide in here all you want instead of addressing my contention directly in the other thread. I’ll still respond.

It is one thing to complain about voting irregularities, but it is another thing to make up the fact that there were such irregularlities on a large massive scale, not to mention in 5 specific states that Trump lost by close margins, without any shred of evidence, as well as attempt to get election officials, Congress, the DOJ, and Pence to overturn the results on such allegations regardless of whether or not they are verifiable (which courts concluded they weren’t).

We all know that Trump made up this s*** (declaring massive fraud months BEFORE the election actually occurred should be the dead giveaway on this) just to stay in power, and it is painfully obvious, based on the Senate Judiciary Committee Report, that he was doing everything he could to stay in power even if it meant subverting the election and court certified results and the constitution.

And if you don’t see that, then congratulations, you are a fool.

If you do see that, and still prefer this guy be in the office, then, yes, you are against the constitution, plain and simple.

The election that was rigged was the one that got Trump into office in the first place (2016), and blatantly so. Trump made a big show of claiming the 2020 election was rigged and the hijacked QAnon types fell for it. It was primarily to distract people from the 2016 election they tried blaming on Facebook and Russian meddling. The whole thing is a joke.

Secondarily the big monkey display at the White House on Jan 6th allowed the NSA to get pictures of some of the most loyal QAnon types. Now they can be tracked and who they associate with can also be determined, just as the hijackers of the Q thing intended. We can call them Q"not so Anon" types now.

What it has done to the American mass psyche is demonize anyone in the future who calls foul (left or right) on election results.

If the Republicans cared about protecting the people's right to vote they would support HR1 For the People Act. Among other things it encourages paper ballot and physical vote counting subtitle F secs 1501 - 1507. It requires states to comply with safe electronic voting practices secs 3301 - 3305. It attempts to prevent vote hacking secs 3401 - 3402. It discourages voter intimidation secs 1301 - 1304.

In case you get your info from Fox News, Voter intimidation is why it is the normal practice to show voter registration cards at polling stations and not personal identification.

It is fairly obvious the powers want the ability to continue to rig elections and prevent any accusations of said activity from being taken seriously.

You can read HR1 For the People Act by viewing the pdf version at Congress.gov

You're both wrong. Not only was the 2016 election rigged, the GOP primaries that got Trump nominated were rigged as well.

Was it just the presidential ballot, or did they have to fake all of the down ballot tickets and issues?

Have you considered how odd it is the Senate always seems to be a photo finish with one Republican senator to make it 51 - 49. How about the current Senate with 50-50 and Joe Manchin to throw it off. Can't even blame the Rs this time.

Who tallies the votes? Who's magical computer box is all the info plugged into while people wait for it to kick out the answer? If the person responsible for it or some random hacker out there is owned, how hard would it be to rig the vote. That's what HR1 For the People Act is intended to stop. The Republican Senators, with help from Joe Manchin, are preventing it from becoming a law.
