By a wide margin (about 8 to 1), Republicans think mandatory vaccination is not constitutional.

By a smaller margin (about 3 to 5), Democrats think it is contitutional.

And independent voters oppose mandatory vaccination by about 3 to 1.

Care to share your source for this ?

No?

I didn't think so.

If we look at the graphs of the death rates, the pandemic does seem to be going away by itself.

False.

Yes.

"Red pill" >>> The willingness to learn a potentially unsettling or life-changing truth.

"Blue pill" >>> Remaining in contented ignorance.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Red" handed out by Repugs and the "Wonderland" you will see is up the bunghole of trump.

Congratulations to Arizona for filing suit against Biden for the Vax mandate!

Sue him to the stone age. Sue him to the grave.

Boo to California for not recalling the Governor. The smart choice was Elder.

Also, to the California ex-pats: when you finally get sick enough to leave your failing state and toxic leftist ideology, do not bring that trash with you. Don't escape to Florida and then start voting left in Florida.

Otherwise, just stay there!

In one area, Democrats and Republicans appear to agree. They both think that people have a right to own and acquire property.

I learned about this idea the last time I studied American History. During maybe the third week, we took a test with the following question.

The Founders held that all persons have the right to possess and ______ property.

take
perpetuate
demand
acquire

And Republicans like this idea that people have a right to aquire property. I think maybe Democrats do also. I think so because of Democrats’ support for the system of subprime loans that lead to the 2008 Recession.

The two parties differ in who to blame for the recession. Democrats blame dishonest bankers. Republicans blame the Clinton administration's use of the regulatory process and the Justice Department's threats to prosecute banks that did not make enough subprime loans.

In one of the videos, which I posted earlier, Thomas Sowell calls it "Janet Reno's Justice Department."

Maybe the Bush administration should have done something to fix the system. One must wonder how that might have been possible with Bernie Sanders screaming racism.

About Covid and what to do about it, I could say …

“Despite media claims that ‘We Can’t Turn the Corner on COVID,’ the numbers of COVID-19 cases, new hospitalizations, and deaths nationwide peaked and started to decline around the beginning of September. The combination of this milestone, new findings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showing widespread levels of vaccination and natural immunity, and improved availability of treatments suggests that, outside of isolated pockets, COVID-19 is likely to become a diminishing health risk in the United States.”

But you previously said, "the pandemic does seem to be going away by itself ".

Now you are saying it will eventually diminish due to "widespread levels of vaccination and natural immunity, and improved availability of treatments", which isn't "going away by itself ".

Oddly words have meanings.

They can't sue the president. He can do no wrong because he is the President. Were you awake the past 4 years, or stuck in your wonderland dream hole?

And now calling for the death of the president? That could get you thrown in another hole.

Democrats and Republicans have one thing in common. They have strange religions.

For example, some Democrats read the Bible and worship the Cave Bear.

Kool.

I know a Reagan era Republican who worships the cave bear, but I have never met a democrat who does.

Still that’s pretty cool.

Larry Elder tried. He did more than most. He sees a state which is failing economically

It is rife with corruption. The science around Covid has been politicized and is being used to gin a culture of fear.

From taxes to homelessness to drug addiction to violence to the pandemic Gavin Newsom has been wrong.

But just like New York just like all of these other blue metropolitan areas the attitude is I will vote for a corpse before I vote Republican. And the evidence is in. We have a puppet in the White House a man who can barely complete a sentence no kidding. But that’s fine because he can be directed by woke ism —ideology does not need intelligence.

The hate is coming from the left. Hate is from the left. Woke ism is from the left. It drives them insane to think that a Republican could be in charge. Larry elder was called the black face of white racism which on a face is the most absurd thing to say ever and that went unchallenged in the major media.

Good luck California. God be with you. For those of you looking to escape —don’t take your politics with you especially if you go to Tennessee or Texas or Florida or some other place where they don’t put up with your crap.

We are doing just fine, despite what has been painted for you here (and people say the mainstream media favors the left … ). We certainly are not failing economically - our GDP, the largest in the US, is ahead of every country in the world except four, and we have a $75 billion budget surplus on top of that, despite the pandemic.

And COVID? California was recently the first and only state to go from red to orange in terms of transmission risk. We have the lowest per capita rate of infections. (Guess who is first? Texas and Florida.) This is thanks to being a state with one of the highest vaccine rates in the country, along with a mix of various and effective vaccine and mask mandates - how any deadly contagion should be sensibly handled.

And yes, we continue to lead the nation in the fight against climate change, as we always have. EPA carbon mandates usually follow ours several years later.

We also all receive a ballot in the mail! How nice and convenient, don’t you think? And no, we don’t have a fraud problem. The exact same counties that voted no on the recall voted for Biden. The votes are real and remarkably consistent.

This is why Larry Elder was soundly defeated, as I predicted would happen back in the spring when this $300 million waste of taxpayer money got kick started.

Most of us are happy with the way things are here.

So don’t worry. Most of us have zero interest in moving to Texas and Florida, or we wouldn’t have so readily passed up on the chance of imitating them here last Tuesday.
