I do read (lurk at) The Forum Site from time to time, but I haven't posted in about 5 years! Now I decided to post finally but the very same thing I posted about last time.
My life is much different than it was 5 years ago but some things are so much the same it is comical. Annoying, but comically coincidental.
I am staying with the very same cousins I was staying with last time I posted. It is 5:30 in the morning here and I woke up with serious hunger pangs about an hour ago.
This post is a rant about my freaky, bizarre, abnormally fast metabolism. It a curse not a blessing - trust me. A few months ago my friends were telling my how "lucky" I am to have a metabolism like this and that is hasn't slowed down. I sort of understand why they say that but they don't need to search for 6000+ calories a day. It can't be turned off and it is not like people think.
So, like 5 years ago, I woke up hungry at 4:30 in the morning. I ate 5 tiger's milk bars, some nuts and other snacks. That's all I have with me and my freaky, abnormal stomach wants more. 5 years ago I raided the kitchen. My stomach wants me to do that again but there are other guests here also and one is sleeping on the couch down stairs.
So, I tried to get my mind off of my stomach by reading The Forum Site and found that almost this exact thing happened to me 5 years ago. I remember that day completely. That day we did a lot of exercise and it made me really really hungry. I ate a LOT for dinner and probably that much again 5 hours later before bed. My Aunt and Uncle are very understanding but I could tell my Aunt especially thought is was weird even though she was being very helpful.
Yesterday we didn't do any great amount of exercise but I was unusually hungry anyway, not nearly as much as 5 years ago, but it still happens. That is what an abnormally fast metabolism is about: being hungry at odd times, and when no one else is. How many times have I been with friends and I am the only one who is hungry? I am having cramping hunger pangs because all I had for lunch was a sandwich 3 hours ago. They can't understand because "we just ate 3 hours ago" and they don't have freaky, abnormal stomachs.
