but at the same time gas prices are rising just like they did with Obama and hes a democrat as well also we all know there will probbaly be more taxes.

Gas prices are (supposedly) the result of the market; supply and demand. The office of President of the US does not have a direct impact on oil prices. Taxes on oil, the realm of the Federal and State Legislatures, do affect the price we pay at the pump.

I said "supposedly" because of the OPEC Cartel. They control the price of oil by setting output targets. If oil companies in the US colluded to set the price of fuel with disregard to the natural market it would be illegal. OPEC can decrease the price of oil because they like a President or increase the price because they dislike another. Should we allow psychological manipulation to affect our view of a US President? Should we trust the opinion of those who suggest fuel price as a yardstick to evaluate the executive office?

He should have waited to raise gas prices until AFTER he takes all our guns. The fuel costs alone to haul all that steel will be astronomical.

Not really... only 81 days. Usually people don't start any realistic assessment until 100 days.

@SniperRecoil464 Said

what do you guys think about Joe Biden

I love him.

@SniperRecoil464 Said

hes saying hes gonna vaccinate America by 2022

Mostly this is likely true, though realistically it is up to Americans to actually decide to get the vaccine

@SniperRecoil464 Said

He is promising he will help america be more environmentally friendly

He's already done this, compared to the last guy.

@SniperRecoil464 Said

but at the same time gas prices are rising just like they did with Obama

This is not actually true and ultimately misleading. The kind of stuff that trolls feed people that don't want to think for think for themselves.

@SniperRecoil464 Said

The "all" in this statement make it (the statement) most likely false... unless by "all" you mean the very rich and corporations. (PS... ultimately taxes went up under Trump... "How?" you might ask... the answer is tariffs, which are ultimately a hidden tax that is ultimately paid for by the consumer (i.s. the American Citizen).

Again, it is the kind of stuff that rolls feed people that don't want to think for think for themselves.

This is largely accurate, but leaves out that part that when there are natural disasters that impact gas production by refineries, gas prices go up regardless of which political party is in power.

It also ignores the impact of state governments... as well as Congress.

Etc.

Think of the JnJ vax. If it were on the free market it's price would have spiked immediately after the Baltimore f***-up, and we see why next week with (whatever the number) short of expected delivery.

Or maybe Biden is just giving himself an out in case he doesn't reach the 200m vax'd in 100 days.

Biden’s storm troopers kicked my door in today… Stole all my guns… And crammed their vaccine right up my petunia!

I can’t wait till he turns the USA into the USSR.

I just find it annoying and a bit suspicious that every time we get a democrat president the price of gas goes up and when we get a republican one it goes down. It isn't wars or natural disasters. It has nothing to do with the execution of duties of the president.
I also find it interesting that in "underground" right wing circles this comparison pops up. The right wing conspiracy types are being told what to believe by the ones behind the real conspiracy.

The last two times a Dem took over from a repug, we were in the midst of an economic s***storm.

That, and your mandela effect is kicking in.

I don't think this is true. At least not true "every time".

This link suggests that it is false.

Instead of just promoting and spreading what appears to be Rebpulican propaganda, perhaps you should do some research on the topic.

Feel free to provide facts (and links) that support your allegation that "every time we get a democrat president the price of gas goes up and when we get a republican one it goes down."

The price of gas went....Down with Harding (R)... of course WW1 was over so he hardly gets credit for that.

Gas prices also went Down with FDR (D)... even though he was a Democrat.

Gas prices went up with these presidents....

Eisenhower (R)...
Kennedy (D),
Johnson (D),
Nixon (R),
Ford (R),
Carter (D),
Reagan (R),
H.W. Bush (R),

Clinton (D)..... though down if you adjust for inflation...

W Bush (R)... a lot if you adjust for inflation...
Obama

Feel free to correct me... I can take it.

Of course if you adjust for inflation...

Gas prices when down for Reagan (R) then up for H.W. Bush (R)... then way down for Clinton (D)...
In fact, Democrats have occupied the White House when gas prices were at their highest (Wilson) and their lowest (Clinton).

>>> Point being: No... gas prices do not always go up for Democrats nor always down for Republicans. That is a bulls*** myth. <<<

Either way, the right wing talk makes it sound that way. I pointed out before that gas price is not a yardstick worthy of measuring a president's performance.

Here’s a better gauge of how the economy fares under who rules:

There have been exactly two times in the past 100 years when the Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress during the majority of a Republican President’s White House tenure.

One resulted in the Great Depression, the other resulted in the Great Recession.

I have a wing-nut friend who parroted the same thing about gas prices.
When I showed him a graph contradicting his gas-lighting, he switched to "Well the price per barrel would be a better indicator" ...
