Amending our Constitution to get rid of the EC system would require 2/3rds of both the H.R. & the Senate, AND 3/4ths of the states’ legislatures.

We’re not even close to those kinds of numbers.

We’re closer to selecting an authoritarian rule who trashes the entire Constitution than amending it.

In reality, the only purpose QAnon is serving is providing a vessel for the religious crazies to spur an GOP split (there is already talk among top former GOP figures, including Bush, of forming a new center-right party). This should bode well for the Democratic Party’s near future.
