Well not ok that he does, but ok you fell that way. I wasn’t trying to defend him, so much as to say it’s not triggering my alarms. Also I never noticed anything weird until people started pointing it out. So it’s possible I was just oblivious.

I think we have all known people who are touchy feely but who are totally harmless. I think Joe fits into that category. Some people just like to get close to other people, and it does creep some of us out a little.

I don't think Joe means any harm by it, this is just in his nature to get close to other people, whether it be shaking their hand or hugging, or whatever. At least his motives are totally different from those of Donald Trump, who likes to do a lot more than snuggle with other people's wives.

I would certainly trust my wife alone in a room with Joe more than I would with Trump.

Maybe that’s why it doesn’t creep me out, I have a friend that does that. All. The. Time. Granted, it’s a woman, and it generally takes a lot more for women to be considered creepy.
Also something that looks worse in photos than videos, but the whole point of doing it is communicate in a way that can’t be overheard or lip read.

Like I said, there are plenty of issues to think Biden needs to do some work on, he certainly wasn’t my first choice. I just don’t see the creepy mess as the most significant reason to not vote. If you do, great. I’d rather people vote even I disagree, than not vote at all. We should all be involved. Voting is the minimum. It’s not throwing away a vote.

If the two parties wanted to win they would work harder for the independent vote. Some of that is on them not just on the voters. The ones that didn’t show up, they suck.
