I'm not sure honestly. How many more genres can they possibly do before it all just becomes like Excel Saga and merges into one giant monstrosity. I think its gonna be a game of finding the best manga with the most original or compelling storylines to bring up to the Anime world. Then you have to deal with censorship, cultural swings, and annoying storyline changes.

Its still pretty damn popular in niche crowds. My Hero Acadamia is still really popular online. I've noticed classic series being more popular in my generation. We grew up with them and now we get to show them to our kids.

I think if you go to any metro area anime convention you'll see that the anime crowd is very much alive still.

As for me, I kind of lost interest at some point over the years. I don't know if I aged out, or what, but anime doesn't give the the same excitement it used to.

Valve is using anime as means to an indirect suicide: an end to having to manage Steam servers long past the fortune they've earned

Only about a year from now forty percent of the material on Steam will be anime child porn sure to get noticed (finally) and set the company free.

On an underlying level this is turning westerners further away from Japanese cartoons in general.

I only watch a select few at this point. I can't say all of them are good, but I refuse to say that there is a lack of quality anime.

anime - I am not a big fan, but in the 60's, watched " space racer ". space racer could be early work of anime, because the cartoon, which than regular tv cartoon style.

anime seem more adult than children in their themes. these days, I really not crazy about anime illustration style than anything about it. I don't like it.

that hard question for me, I have seen 20 shows at most. in general, the shows aren't that good to watch for me.

Did you mean Speed Racer?

At first I just thought that style of animation was "lazy" - haha
They didn't have enough patience or time to fill in all the other frames to make a smooth action - like Spiderman or Scooby-Doo

You'll know Anime is main stream when The Lion King or Toy Story is rebooted in Anime. .. either that, or Pixar really pissed off Disney.

I think is tv cartoon show called " space racer " , you are right, I mean " speed racer ". I think 60's and 70's tv cartoons were the best, because like you read a comic book like Spider-Man and fantastic four.

anime cartoons remind of 80's and 90's graphic super heroes books look like crap that one of the reasons why I stopped buying comic books in 90's.

I'd argue the resurgence is happening already. My Hero Academia and Beastars have been very successful and brought many new people to anime.

last year, Disney's marvel super heroes like black panther, guardians of the galaxy, and the avengers storylines and computer animation are superior than anything, I have seen since 60's animation.

many ways, the storylines for young teenagers or younger, can complete marvel super heroes movies. most of the storylines are most 22 episodes or 12 episodes a whole season. it is very rare for cartoon series. normal season 6 to 8 episodes of the cartoon season.

the few anime shows like poke-man, it more design for younger people and possible early 20's. the storylines don't seem that much deep to them, more action instead. the graphics, I don't like that much poke man. it much like the graphic novels like watchman or marvel's super heroes comic books that turn me off read them anymore.

if anime dying again, whatever, they have focus on what age group , they target at. real develop it! they make storylines that group only. the storyline more complete. if anime were look on format at Disney's animation that big screen, that are brilliant.

it would up a great of help keep anime not only in the mainstream to keep an audience from leaving.
