Holy cow iOS is hip.

It just autocorrected Pokémon with the trademark accent.

Also I think the popularity of Pokémon Go and people talking about it and loading it on phones helped it learn. With the Harry Potter game out the phones will start learning that lingo.

And the generations that grew up with Harry Potter are adults and the nostalgic qualities keep childhood favorites have significance.

No doubt.

This nostalgia over media entities has been going on for a couple of decades now, as Gen Xers have been doing it over DC comics, Star Wars, Pixar, and so on. It’s ruined movies, imo. Everything dominating theaters is a sequel now.

Oh well, Netflix is winning the movie business now anyways.

And yes, now Millennials are doing it with Nintendo, which is why its consoles and games still sell like gangbusters despite Sony and Microsoft putting out superior hardware for quite some time now. Heck, even the some of the best selling games in PlayStation and Xbox are now remasters of classics.

Sequels and formulas bring in the money, and that is what most of the hollywood producing team is about. Creativity and independence is limited because people who put in the money don't want to take that much risk. It would help to diversify, Netflix has been actively moving in that direction.

Yes, and the fact that the movie industry is declining in general because of increased streaming options makes such risk all the more unattractive. The future is Netflix, Apple, Amazon, HBO, and the upcoming Disney+ (plus a few other minor leaguers), where millions have been poured into movies and original series. The Scorsese-directed film, The Irishman, starring De Niro, Pacino, and Pesci, due to be released within the next month on Netflix is one prime example. $140 million was poured into it, something that even back in its heyday, movie studios wouldn’t have spent on a single drama film.

probably, one of the first successfully movie sequels back in 1960's, possibly " the " hecules " movie sequels in 50's and the 60's, was the five back to back sequels of " planet of apes " in 60's.

netflix is take risk with " the Irishman " with marty and de'niro will make money off it either way, whether are not the movie is hit or not on netflix. marty probably is going launch the movie theaters next year anyway. or, later in the wintertime, nobody will lose anything by this in the long run.

in November, spectrum originals launching the return of " mad about you " with most of the cast is coming back to play in this limited series. sad part, nobody is watching spectrum originals. this will the first show that I be watching on it. someone will lose money off this decision.

back in the 30's to 70's, movie productions took a giant risk on gambit, if a movie is a hit or not. the movie productions really low budgets back then, launched a lot of movies per year. with less special effects, cheaper actors, and production cost, not today's movie productions are doing now.

I guess being jewish not that active in going temple on regularly basis. it seem that Christians and other catholic religions talk or worry about human needs and other sins. I really hardly or be around jews to talk about porn.

I think that think about it, but occasionally, talk about in tell dirty jokes, or listen to men that more strangers that I wait with on the public bus. they have to bragged about their questable sex life in more than mind in real life.

I just realizes I really don't hang out with jews. a lot of my friends are jewish , off and on, over years. I never been with jewish men talk about their sex life.

you'll non jews men, keep talking about porn for us, non jews, we just have money, no porn!
