Fat Bear Week.

...There are an estimated 2,000 bears in Katmai National Park & Preserve, a glorious and massive 4.4-million acre stretch of wilderness in Southwest Alaska. Each year the bears spend the summer trying to get as fat as they can to prepare for hibernation.

And in October bear fans get to vote on who is the fattest of them all....

Now see, if the bears were on Facebook, they might help the emaciated bears I posted about in another link.

Set up a virtual salmon stand on Amazon and manage delivery to the hungry bears of Canada.
Or maybe the Canadian bears might set up a Go-Fish-Me site asking for donations...

But instead, they are left to the wilds of nature.

Ugh, I feel like I might win this competition. I don't want to in, but Salmon in Fall and Napping in winter is my mood right now.

when I first read about this, I thought fat men from canada in their swimsuits. if you see fat men with swim shorts, you think they are bears. robin Williams was hairy man, I saw a photo of him on a beach. he should keep his clothes on when he on the beach.
