Bob. You've posted a video of people in balaclavas.

I see no Stephen Yaxley-Lennon in that video.

Give it up. I'm not talking to you about your bogus issue any more. Other posters are starting to see your bogus issue for what it is now. I've given you my answer, it is what it is.

Now, please get back on topic.

How unsurprising... you either know so little of Tommy that you don't recognise his voice (I think this is almost certainly true), and are merely parroting the acceptable chattering class opinions, or you are a liar ignoring evidence that shows your "Tommy is a Nazi" line is the load of dog s*** anyone with even a little bit of knowledge knows it to be.

And please stop projecting your contempt for children on to me. You don't care about children, Jen. I do.

Is it too soon to congratulate Boris Johnson on his win as Prime Minister?

All the best to the UK.

When Gordon Brown of the Labour Party replaced Tony Blair as Prime Minister, the following appeared in a national daily:

“It’s the arrogance. It’s the contempt. That’s what gets me. It’s Gordon Brown’s apparent belief that he can just trample on the democratic will of the British people. It’s at moments like this that I think the political world has gone mad, and I am alone in detecting the gigantic fraud.”

“They voted for Anthony Charles Lynton Blair to serve as their leader. They were at no stage invited to vote on whether Gordon Brown should be PM… They voted for Tony, and yet they now get Gordon, and a transition about as democratically proper as the transition from Claudius to Nero. It is a scandal. Why are we all conniving in this stitch-up? This is nothing less than a palace coup… with North Korean servility, the Labour Party has handed power over to the brooding Scottish power-maniac.”

“The extraordinary thing is that it looks as though he will now be in 10 Downing Street for three years, and without a mandate from the British people. No one elected Gordon Brown as Prime Minister…”

“Gordon Brown could appease public indignation over that, and secure the democratic mandate he needs, by asking the public to vote at once on him, on the new EU treaty, and on the implications of the devolutionary settlement. Let’s have an election without delay.”

The author of that article was...............

Boris Johnson

So Boris..... when are YOU going to call a General Election...?

Yesterday I saw Boris Johnson give a speech on BBC World news. Buddy seems like a really nice person who wants success for the UK.

That's what he says. But do you think he can be loyal to both the UK and his hair?

Borry needs to get Brexit done. Then he can call an election after he has done the will of the British people from the other election that has been ignored for far too long already.

I see Jo Swinson has effectively stated that even if the UK voted for Brexit in a second referendum she would still campaign to reverse the decision. Big surprise there.

Isn't it funny. May makes it clear that no deal is not an option before and during negotiations with the EU. So in effect she tells them that the UK will take a bad deal over no deal. And surprise, surprise the EU offer her a bad deal. They refuse to renegotiate. May goes and Boris comes in. The EU tell Boris that the deal offered May is the only deal on offer. Boris for his part makes it clear that for the UK no deal is better than a bad deal. He ramps up preparations for the UK to leave under WTO rules and let's the EU know that the UK will leave without a deal if an acceptable deal can't be negotiated. The EU is seemingly unmoved. Boris travels to Germany (a country recently described as the sick man of Europe) with Merkel apparently on the same song sheet as her EU overlords. But then Boris emerges with Merkel saying Germany are prepared to consider a renegotiated deal. I was watching a radio 4 interview (just before Boris left for Berlin) where the remainder host stated it as fact that Germany would hold firm to the EU 'no renegotiation possible' line. But it is no surprise that Germany, faced for the first time with the realistic possibility that the UK might leave without a deal, are prepared to compromise. Afterall, Germany's exports have recently tumbled 8 percent and the country has experienced negative growth in 2 of the past 4 quarters. Remember that 2 successive quarters of negative growth is traditionally viewed as a recession. Germany's traditionally export-reliant economy is currently looking vulnerable. Bare in mind too that the UK is Germany's 4th largest export market. Furthermore, their trade surplus with the UK is some $54 billion. So the fact that, when faced with the genuine possibility of the UK leaving the EU without a deal, the Germans are suddenly not as intransigent as the EU should come as no surprise. Of course even after Merkel stated Germany would consider alternative plans re the back stop the EU and France were still saying that the deal offered to May was the only deal available. Then after meeting Macron the French President stated that perhaps a deal might be possible afterall.

The above just highlights what a shocking job May and her government did re negotiations with the EU.
