Has anybody seen it?

It's a series - 2 seasons (so far). I'm a few episodes into the 2nd season.

I think it's a German production, overdubbed in English. And the subtitles aren't quite matching up to the spoken overdub. It takes a bit to put that aside.

But the story line keeps me interested.

Kind of Twin Peaks-ish

Small town
People go missing
People show up
And time travel - with limitations. And some oft purported rules don't apply.

Check it out if you get a chance.

I saw the first couple of episodes, and I agree it looks good. It’s on my list. The overdubs don’t bother me because I turn off the sound on most of these things anyways since I usually have a sleeping 2 year old when I watch anything.

Subtitles have become my watching buddy on everything lol. So much that, on the rare occasion I actually turn the sound on, I end up finding it curious how certain characters’ voices don’t match what I had been imagining all along up to that point in a series.

nbc came up with summer tv show years ago called " persons unknown ". it based on a small group of strangers are literally kidnapped in everyday life, and put into a small pretty ghost town in the desert.

each one has drugged enough lost their memory, they have no idea, who they are or where they are. during this one season tv show. the 13 episodes the group work to together as one. during the show, there is a group behind this, you never know it is. everybody outside the town, who know anybody in the group, if they decide to investigate their love ones or friends in the group. this group will automatically kill them.

yes, the group in the town have tried several times, if they can reach the own's edge and walk past the town limit, they are automatically knock out unconscious or possible kill.

each episode, the group either get clues or red herrings to find out who they are. this group who are their enemy like to play games on each member of the group make more confuse and try to push them to kill themselves.

in the last episode of the season, the group decide to their own breakout from their prison. so they all rush toward the town limit. one of them make it out of the town limit. the others fall down unconscious. the one escape, was almost going back to help them. he decide to run for it, but he made few feet and then he pass out.

the last five minutes of the season, all sudden, in the artic, there is a big cargo ship that is traveling between icebergs. all sudden, you see one the ship door open, and the group comes out of the ship. you see on their faces, " where in the hell, I am I? " and the game begins again. the season ends on that note.

yes, I have. the problems with the show. lack of audience and probably too violent, it's own good. it seems the story was falling apart and as well, the story was some ways, it repeat itself in the long run. that not a good sign for a science fiction tv show.

I agree the story line started to fall apart. So they just burned the place down and left it at that Haha

I try to remember the end of series, but like most of these science fiction tv shows that has this premise to it. they would fight off the creatures through the next season. the best thing in the series were creatures, their speed only thing I like about them.

there was a tv science fiction show couple of years ago, called " continuum " that had pretty good solid storyline. I really give the series finale enough credit in writing it. it was just perfect for the show's ending. below the main character's role in the show from beginning to the end.

the show was in third season, the storyline was in midway, before the show's cancellation. the fourth season had six episodes in it. I was surprise by the fact, it had one of the best series finales of science fiction tv shows, I have seen, since the best ending in the two part series finale of " star trek: the next generation".

City Protective Services (CPS) "Protector" Kiera Cameron, a law enforcement agent from 2077-era Vancouver who was sent back into the past with the members of Liber8 during their escape attempt at their execution. Cut off from her time period, she joins the Vancouver Police Department to pursue Liber8 and thwart their plans to alter the time-line using her new position in the police department and the technology that she brought with her. At the beginning of Season Three, Kiera travels back in time from a week in the future when Alec attempts to change history, but the changes to history result in the death of her 'past' self—referred to as "Green Kiera" in the future—while the version of her from the original time-line (Known as "Red Kiera" ) remains. In the series finale, "Red Kiera" finally returns to a different 2077 than the one she was originally sent from, and sees yet another version of herself, and 'her son' (though only from afar). She realises she can never be with her son, but through motivation from Alec, she realises she can at least love and experience him growing up in this new future from a distance.

Was Continuum the one with the Belters, Mars citizens and Earth citizens?
Started out with a PI looking for a missing girl?

this is different series. I think I kind of remember that series, but I can't remember the name of it. in the last 15 years, have been over 30 science and fantasy tv shows, it hard to keep with good ones. have been too turkey tv shows were stinky to watch, more or less, remember their names.

this series above, does sound familiar to me, but I can't place it!

Firefly was a good one.
I didn't catch the original airing, but streamed it from somewhere.

Ever see Charlie Jade?

A "Parallel Universe"-type syfy

I haven't seen that many, but yes, I get mixed up between the ones I do see.

Same thing trying to match titles with stories for all of the Stephen King books I've read

yes, I enjoyed it on syf. I waiting for the dvd to come out since now I think on netflex. I don't waste money get it, I wait for dvd at the library.

the expanse is very complicate tv show to watch at the beginning. it's style like " total recall " backdrop to it. I think it is much better to watch than firefly ever was.

Finished it. Certainly left it open for another season, which Wiki confirmed:

The series was renewed for a third season which will serve as its final instalment.[10] Filming began in late June 2019.

.. and that's my version of bingeing - I started with season one probably about July 3
