Proof of god is a moral question. Do you see the morals shown for god as good or evil?

True... but your are torn between a fear of me and a love for my hairy legs protruding from a short tight and high blue skirt.

I was thinking you were a guy. Not that it maters. I look for good minds regardless of their hairy legs.

You have to remember that most men today, especially in the U.S. have basically lost their balls while women are finding theirs.

All but the Republican women it seems.

P.S.
I failed to convince a Christian woman that she should demand to be a first class citizen from her religion or get out of her misogynous religion, but could not get through to her.
Let me know if you wish to take her on. I will see if I can learn something new after hooking you up.

What's brought here is something called "The Evil God Challenge."

I believe God is holy and separate from all creation and the arbiter of all things.

The Moral Argument for the existence of God states that morality exists because God exists. Bad morals are really a lack of morals.

But because morals do exist (at all) and aren't found in nature we know that God exists.

The tablets from Mt Sinai didn't write themselves.

Utter Regards

Yes. Have you taken the "The Evil God Challenge" and read the word of your lord?

With all my innate evilness... I give you the "good challenge"....

Read and study your bible... from 1st word to last... its history... its compilation... all of it...

I'm sorry... I'm a bad man... but the Coyote trickster made me do it...

Moses wrote those, but really, if you are so ill informed that you do not equate what we call morals with the empathy and altruism seen in nature, then I do not wish to engage with you on this issue.

Asking the French-Canadians to contribute to the world of philosophy and ethics is like asking the Afghanis to contribute to mathematics.

They may have put in but it's been a while since.

Speaking from my limited human perspective I agree. Hell is impossible to reconcile with the idea of a god who calls on humans to forgive everyone so we can 'be like god' when we're told he does not forgive everyone, but tortures some people eternally for no purpose.

As I read the source either extra-biblical or within the bible, I don't see those in the lake of fire or otherwise hell being there for absolutely no purpose.

I would say that we devolved into monotheism, as Christians could not do it without putting three heads into one a hole of a god.

From one flawed human to another: If you had something you love that was flawed, and you had the power to fix it, wouldn't you fix this thing you love?

Now, how much more wouldn't your god of love also do for that which he loves?

Why do you think so little of your god that he would punish for all eternity that which he loves?

Would you do that to your own prodigal child?

Does not your Bible tell you to forgive?

Well, if you consider the French Revolution that helped usher in Democracy and that France and their laïcité is what has pushed Islam to finally start modernizing, I think the rest of the world should do as Quebec is doing and follow that good lead.

If you just do like the French, mange de la merde.

1. From one flawed human to another: If you had something you love that was flawed, and you had the power to fix it, wouldn't you fix this thing you love?

4. Does not your Bible tell you to forgive?

1. I do not recognize myself as being flawed. That does not mean that I do not have areas where I might improve.

As to if I would change what I love, not without the one I love desiring that change.

If one is to give a gift, it should be what the recipient wants to have and not what I want to give.

2. If your idea of god does not do as I showed, then he is inferior to me. IMO.

3. The/my Gnostic Christian god has tied righteousness to the equality of all souls and has a heaven and no hell. Anything else would show an unjust god as we all contribute the good and evil that forms all of our characters, except the insane etc. Both heaven and hell are figments or our minds. Not supernatural.

4. Yes. Forgiveness is good for both the forgiver and forgiven. The bible also says that repentance should come before forgiveness but I am soft on that where it is not self forgiveness.

Reading back, I'm not sure why I quoted and responded to your post.

Maybe I was asking rhetorical questions or meant to respond to another's post...

Anyway, I actually feel like we (you and I) are fairly close on these points.

I agree.

Our type are legion and growing in places like this.

If I was not banned at so many more fundamental places, those like us would help religions die a lot faster. The ban hammer is how they keep their sheeple ignorant of many things.

Lying preachers have to protect their frauds and income.

Some day I might get a new I.P. address and go harass them anew.

Presumably they go into the profession with good intentions and beliefs. When do you think they wake up?

Do some just put their blinders on and continue to go through the motions?
... like many of their sheep...
