On a TV spot they said he's offended because it represents a time in American history when slavery was accepted.

He's starting to sound like the GOPers that are still complaining about Hillary.

Well, Kaepernick just undermined his argument that his kneeling during the National Anthem was both a protest and patriotic (or not anti-patriotic).

Our present flag (and the National Anthem for that matter) ties us "ties to America's era of slavery".

Kap is either narrow minded, or uneducated on the topic... and Nike has demonstrated that they are as well.

Ducey said he believes Nike's action shows it lacks pride and appreciation for American history. He condemned the company for bowing to political correctness.

I can't get an appointment for this, sadly I already tried, but if I could I would go to a fingernail polish beauty place and have that flag painted on my toenails so I could march in a parade this Fourth of July With a sign that says "F Nike!"
