When a group of uneducated , non medical idiots think they have a right to inform doctors and patients of what will or will not be allowed , everyone involved ,except the idiots, suffer.

I think this is important to note as well:

The harrowing account described the woman, already far along in her pregnancy, visiting a doctor for the very first time quite late in her pregnancy because it simply hadn’t been possible for her to seek medical advice earlier in the current U.S. healthcare system.

I realise that things have changed since the late 1970's early 1980's , and laws are different from state to state.
I know you are thinking, wth does this have to do with the price of rice ......
I will connect my dots .
Back in the late'70's and early '80's was when I was birthing baby's and at that time in my state, a woman had more then a couple of ways to get medical treatment for a pregnancy. One was if a pregnant woman walked into a doctors office before her 6 th month , that doctor could not refuse her . no matter what her shape her financial records were in. Now after the her 6th month no doctor was obligated to take her on as a patient. Then there was the welfare / medical card route, and of course cash was accepted every where and insurance was something the doctors office liked seeing.
So I have a bit of a problem when I hear statements like "it simply hadn’t been possible for her to seek medical advice" .

The problem I have with the gist of this story is that a group of older white ( insert several derogatory descriptions) males sat around a table and decided they have the right to control another persons personal medical decisions and can invade that persons right to privacy . Not to mention they have legally tied a doctors hands in treating life threatening cases , that that group of males never have had or ever will have ,any up close and personal experience with.

I've heard that Tennessee has taken the child into custody believing it to be the 2nd coming

Here in NZ they would do their best to keep it alive so they could remind it every day that it erroneously suspects it is entitled and needs to harden up because everyone has their devils but still make it to work on time wearing a proper tie (NZ does s*** like this for funnies)
