Your profile says you are a bit past the 20 year mark. As a matter of fact , don't look now , but you should be about plumb worn out, being 27 years past your 20 year warranty . But hey if you are anything close as tough as a chevy pickup ,I got a 1979 chevy short bed . And still runs like striped a** ape . just saying

Maybe twice a year I get to run with people half my age. Or, at least I will do stationary bike.

"Trump is goading us to impeach him," she (Nancy P) said at an event in New York City hosted by the Cornell University Institute of Politics and Global Affairs. "That's what he's doing. Every single day, he's just like taunting, taunting, taunting because he knows that it would be very divisive in the country, but he doesn't really care. He just wants to solidify his base."

Totally 100% agree.

And the young dems are too blood thirsty to see it.

I know you won't answer me, but I am going to ask anyway:

Hypothetical question:

What if the 2020 elections results were exactly opposite from the 2016 election results. That is, in 2020 Trump wins the popular vote by roughly 3,000,000 votes, but loses the Electoral College vote.

Then Trump claims, without any evidence, that the election is a fraud, and refuses to leave office... that is, Trump tries to remain president of the USA.

>>> Would you support this action by Trump? <<<

If you do choose to answer, please answer with a simple and direct answer... something like:

"yes I would/will"
"no I would not/will not"
"I don't know what I would/will do"

I promise not to reply to your response in anyway... I will not insult you...I will not argue with you... I will not try to change your mind nor influence your opinion.... unless you ask me to reply.

Even though I doubt that you will either reply to me directly nor indirectly, I will thank you for your reply anyway:

Thank you. Best regards. Have a lovely day.

Started and continued increasing during Bush/Obama.

Again, long before Trump came into office.

Are you implying it takes more than two years to survey, test, design, secure approvals, plan, build out infrastructure, and construct an oil well?

Pretty much.

Also... I forget all the facts (and am not in the mood to google or wikipedia the topic right now) but I'm pretty sure that the USA has had an over all increase in oil production for roughly the last 100 years.

There were periodic drops in production. If memory serves (and it might not), oil production in the USA dropped for a number of years, which was most likely linked to the increase in oil production by middle east OPEC nations, in the 60-70's. Then after a time it increased again. Then dropped off again (I want to say late Bush-Clinton-Bush... but I might be off on that point). Then increased; late Bush-Obama continuing now in Trump times.

As an analogy it is a little bit like the "Fed" controlling interest rates; the rates being artificially raised or lower depending on the economy.. Oil production is increase or lowered based on the oil companies' desired profit goals; the "reduction" is often done by "capping" oil well.... etc...

Anyway, the idea that Trump has done any of this (economy, employment, oil production, etc) is beyond naive and pretty much demonstrates willful ignorance and/or lack of knowledge of both U.S. history and current events by anyone making claims that Trump is actually responsible.

And "Production" would need an operational definition.
There's the "Pulling it out of the ground" aspect
and then
"Refining it to make usable products"

My comment was strictly towards "Pulling it out of the ground"

We still import oil.

You know,
If we let Trump's reign of error go for, say 15 years or so, then we could probably say the condition of the country and economy is rightfully his to claim.

Yes.

Mildly funny story.... A friend kept talking about how Trump has saved all things (economy, employment, oil....)
I corrected him with the fact that all these things started improving long before Trump came into office.

He said, "so you're saying Obama did all this?"

My reply was, "Nope. I said nothing of the sort. All I said was that Trump didn't do it.... unless you have evidence that he owns a time machine, and used it to go back in time and do all of this."

My friend's reply was:

Pause in conversation

Then my friend said, "When did you become a liberal?"

My reply was, "When did you stop paying attention to facts?"

My friend's reply was:

He doesn't discuss politics with me anymore.

The end.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe there is a report out there that trump’s businesses list a lot of money. Pity he couldn’t have been more up front. Really chaps my hide come to think.

That’s fine Donald. It’s only fair if you can’t handle the little things right then you need to “go sit in time-out” so to speak.

How about you finish your term as president and not get a salary! And if we have to send you a salary then let’s just agree you must donate that money. It’s settled then. Now just you think about what you and your mail-order bride are going do with single ply tissue and gubment cheese.

Considering his BS trips to his Mar-a-lago at U.S. taxpayer expense, Trump shouldn't just be foregoing a salary, but should be paying back the government.

And how would you know if there is "a report out there that trump’s businesses list a lot of money"? Trump won't share his tax returns.
