The result will be that there is no empeachment, no indictment, and therefore a partial exoneration of the Orange Man.

And people like you will be left with either...

A) Accepting that the investigation as valid and thereby claiming that it proves your savior to be good and righteous,

OR

B) Coninuing to claim that the investigation was fake, and thus ultimately claiming its findings wrong, and there by condemning your savior.

Which will you pick?

That your claims of "witch hunt" were lies so you can now claim that your that your savior is "exonerated"?

Or that your claims of "witch hunt" were correct, and thus the exoneration your savior is s lie?

Most Trump fans will praise the results and concede the validity of the investigation, but that's human psychology. Lest we forget that when someone unpopular is facing trial the justice system is finally working and if that person is exonerated, it's obviously because the justice system is then somehow racist and corrupt. Remember Ferguson? I sure do.

It's a flawed logic and opinions shift with the sands on things like this to be sure. I wish people were more objective like you (and that's not me being flippant or sarcastic, I really do wish that) but it will be interesting to see how right I am about the right's reaction.

Likewise, it will be interesting to see if anyone says the "witch hunt" was tainted and obviously compromised because they didn't like the results. And as a note on that, I'm not even referring to people like Rep David Cicilline (D) who is calling for Mueller to testify before the Judiciary Committee. So far, all he's saying is that he thinks we need to have the investigation explained to the public so that everyone understands exactly what the report concludes. So far. I don't have issues with that if that's really all he's asking for, but something tells me there may be more.

Just speculation on my part.

Short answer:

Yes, there are state indictments the feds have no control over.

Longer answer:

Let's say there is a criminal scheme that violates both federal laws and state laws. There are essentially 3 options in dealing with the investigation and prosecution of this federal/state crime.

1. The State can decide to not investigate: So there would be one federal investigation, and any indictments would be in the federal legal system. The state would no say and no control over these indictments.

2. The federal government could decide to not work the case: So there would be one state level investigation, and any indictments would be in the state legal system. The federal government would have no control over these indictments.

3. The federal government and the state can both choose to conduct separate investigations: So there would be two separate investigations, and indictments could be in the federal and/or state legal systems. These indictments would be separate and controlled by the federal government and state government respectively.

Note #1: There are situations where a state might try to indict a government person, who in the course of doing his/her legal federal job violated a state law. The courts have upheld that states cannot actually do this. I can explain further if you like.

Note #2: It is likely that #2 is presently happening in regards to Trump, in the State of New York.... and the statute of limitations would most likely not apply even if Trump gets re-elected.

When Johnny Cochran pulled his magic “if it doesn’t fit you must acquit.“ The Goldmans still had civil suit.

Let me tell you something, as long as there is hate for Donald J Trump there is hope for all of the good little boys and girls of planet earth.

Never give up never surrender never give up never surrender never give up never surrender never give up never surrender.

No worries @gakINGKONG the USA survived all the hate for Obama, I'm pretty sure the USA can also survive the hate for Trump.

The real question is: Can Trump's tenuous grasp on mental stability survive?

Hooray! The report came out... DURING THE TELEVISED OVERWATCH LEAGUE STAGE 1 FINALS on ABC!!! Never mind the fact that I was rooting for the Vancouver Titans, OR the fact that this is the Playoffs! By all means, give us a "Special Report" talking about the EXACT SAME s*** that's been said time and time and frigging time again!!!

Reporter 1: "Breaking News: The Mueller Report is in. No Trump supporters/campaign managers/Trump/anyone involved in his inner circle had any involvement with Russia!"
Reporter 2: "That may be true, but we don't have proof that Trump didn't say the word 'Russia' at some point."
Reporter 1: "That is also true. Trump did say 'Russia' at some point. The question now is, was that wrong?"
Reporter 2: "I don't know. Let's bring in Reporter 3."
Reporter 3: "Hello, I'm Reporter 3. I believe that what Reporter 1 said was well said. However, I also believe that what Reporter 2 said was well said."
Reporter 1: "Soooooo....... Orange man still bad...?"
Reporter 2: "Yep. Orange man bad!"
Reporter 3: "Bad man, that orange man! Bad, bad orange man!!! "
Reporter 1: "And that's the Mueller Report. President Trump said 'Russia' at some point. We'll find out about possible repercussions and whether this is enough to impeach him."

In other news, water is wet! Gravity exists! You inhale oxygen and you exhale carbon dioxide! My feet tend to have an unpleasant aroma!

Here's an idea. Maybe Hillary Clinton lost the election, because... Hillary Clinton lost the election? Could that maybe have been what happened? If anything, shouldn't John Podesta be accused of colluding with Russia when he accidentally clicked on a malicious link and therefore made the Clinton e-mails public? Should the Clinton campaign be investigated after Barbara Boxer declared Hillary the de-facto Democratic nominee, despite the fact that hundreds of Bernie Sanders supporters who were not only registered to vote, but were still in the process voting, or were turned away from the booths, or later found out that their votes weren't counted, were still voting?!

For the record, I think Donald Trump is a f***ing retard. I think he's a useless, incompetent, self-important s***stain who isn't even fit to choke on my month-old socks. BUT, he didn't become President because of Russia. He didn't become President from hacks. He didn't become President because of Illuminati/Deep State lizard people. He became President when he beat Hillary Clinton. It's been 4 f***ing years... You [Democratic Party] lost... get the f*** over it, shut up... nobody cares anymore.

So, when Trump is convicted of all the crimes and goes to prison forever and ever, will all Americans be able to throw rotten fruit at him while he is bound in stocks on public display?
