India posted 9/358. The chase got off to an awful start when Finch went for a second ball duck. Marsh followed shortly afterwards and Australia were 2/12. Khawaja and Handscomb then combined for a stand of 192. Australia still required another 155 to win at nearly ten an over when Khawaja went for 91. You felt Handscomb and Maxwell were the key. Maxwell however went for 23 and Handscomb followed not long afterwards. But Ashton's innings proved to be a real game Turner. His unbeaten 84(43) guiding Australia home with 13 balls remaining.

From 0-2 down Australia have defeated India 3-2 in India. It was a good effort built to a large extent around the batting of Khawaja. The series win in and of itself means little but at least it should give the boys a bit of much needed confidence in the lead up to the world cup.

A century by Wade at number 4. I wonder what excuse the selectors will use next not to choose him.

The World Cup so far seems a bit uneven, teams like South Africa and Bangladesh have already played 2 matches, where as teams like Australia and India have nly played 1.

Can't ever remember a ODI game where there have been so many decisions over turned by the DRS.

The Windies were well on top at various stages and yet lost in the end. It was a real see sawing battle at times. Smith's knock was very mature whilst Coulter-Nile really tested the Windies bowlers. Carey also made an important contribution.

Australia were 4/38 and then 5/79. The Windies on the other hand were 3/149 and then 4/190.

The bowling attack looks much better with Behrendorff playing.
