I voted for him in the primaries. Didn't bother writing him in for the GE because Hillary pressured him into dropping out, wouldn't have been valid anyway from what I heard.

That being said, I would totally enjoy having a hardcore liberal as POTUS to an extent, though there are some things he said I don't agree with, he would be a significant improvement to the incumbent.

I voted for him in the primary too.
I was certain Hillary was a risky candidate and I’m more to the left of her. As a woman of color, I have little faith that others aren’t going with their implicit biases around racism and misogyny, and the trump campaign was blowing all the dog whistles.
However, Bernie never had the votes to actually win the primary. As much as people whined about the superdelegates, he still didn’t have enough, and he isn’t a democrat. He has some good ideas, and directed conversations but by the time NM had it’s primary and he lost the state, it was over. Mathematically he could not win.
If more people were in the primary in 2016 I don’t think he would have even been as close.

I have so many friends that are happy about this; Sanders running.

Half are happy because they want Sansers elected.

Half are happy because they think this makes a Trump 2nd term a certainty.

I think all of your friends will end up disappointed then.

But Clinton did this
and Obama did that
and Trump is being treated unfairly
and lets derail this thread into a Trump pissing match too!!

... currently, I'm undecided, and leaning away from Sanders or Clinton.

And I'm not looking exclusively Dem.

If there were more in gov't like (I perceive) Kasich, I'd like to see him get in. But I suspect he'd be stonewalled by his own party if he tries to "reach across the aisle"
